King’s Kids Recap: January 14

K-5th Grade: This week we read from Luke 5:17-26. Four friends of a paralyzed man decide to get Jesus’ help. Unable to get through the crowds, the four friends lower their paralyzed friend through the roof on his mat. Jesus offers forgiveness first and then healing. Jesus forgives us, and that’s the best kind of healing.

Preschool: Today our Bible story was about Jesus being tempted in the desert. Jesus is God in human form. He was tested in the same way we are but he resists because he is perfect. We can't be perfect until the day we go home to heaven. Jesus came here to forgive us all the times we give into temptation. Because Jesus did not give in to the devil's lies, he is our perfect Savior.
